Sharing data<\/h3>\n

The collected data can be used in multiple different reports. It can also be connected to data collected from other IOT devices or from completely different sources, such as the market price of electricity or calculated sunrise and sunset times. <\/p>\n

Users can be given access to reports using Editor and Viewer roles. Each report can also be shared easily with a link for recipients who don’t have a Kaltiot account.<\/p>\n

Yes. Concrete or metal walls or below-ground installation can weaken or block the 4G network signal. If a smartphone data connection works in the planned installation site, the gateway will most likely also be able to form a connection.<\/p>\n

A poor outgoing data connection signficantly reduces battery life, so we recommend installing the gateway where it can have the best possible signal.<\/p>\n

An external LTE antenna can be connected to the device. This antenna can be adjusted into the position that gives the best signal in challenging installation locations.<\/p>\n

We recommend preventing snow from getting inside the gateway by installing it underneath a roof or overhang.<\/p>\n
