Kaltiot Smart IoT is an \u201cInternet of Things\u201d messaging platform. It provides bi-directional, always online, secure and device battery optimizing communication.\u00a0 The idea for Kaltiot Smart IoT comes from a service called NNA (Nokia Notification API), a mobile device notification service that we started developing in 2008, while working at Nokia.<\/p>\n

NNA, push notification solution is still operating in tens of millions of devices all around the world and is currently used in several Microsoft mobile platforms.<\/a> While developing and operating the NNA we learned great many things about secure, two-way communication and we wanted to create a cloud based two-way communication solution with more enhanced features. Kaltiot Smart IoT is based on our own IPR.<\/p>\n

Both Nokia and Microsoft had strict demands both for security and user experience. The NNA needed to work in countries that have poor and lossy networks and with the same demand for user experience for both low end and more sophisticated devices.\u00a0 We also needed to be able to operate and manage all the transactions between the user and a service provider, like social media or news services. With these demands and the fact that there are tens of millions of users <\/strong> we have truly been tested as a hard core IoT communication professionals.<\/p>\n

Kaltio team has unique combination of embedded and cloud competencies. We have worked together for 8 years in DevOps <\/a>mode. The team has gained a huge amount of knowledge from developing, operating and most of all maintaining a global service that grew from thousands to millions and tens of millions of devices.<\/p>\n

Kaltio Technologies was established 2014 with the mission to provide the ability have “zero time”\u00a0\u00a0in setting it up, secure and most of all scalable IoT messaging <\/strong>platform.<\/p>\n
