Kaltiot’s Smart Tracker service, which tracks conditions, people, materials and tools on construction sites, took first place in the Most collaborative use of data category.
World of Digital Built Environment, or WDBE, is the leading global forum and meeting place for urban digitalisation.
Kaltiot presented the Smart Tracker service at this year’s WDBE Summit in Helsinki and Tallinn. The service enables versatile real-time monitoring of the construction site using IOT sensors.
– We are excited about the victory! We’ve been working on development for a long time, but we haven’t made much noise about it. Now we’ve brought the result of our work to a major industry forum. This recognition will help us make the Kaltiot brand and the importance of worksite tracking better known to industry decision-makers, commented Raina Iso-Junno, Kaltiot’s marketing director.
The WDBE award is a major achievement in the construction industry. The event highlights innovators and new digital solutions in the sector and sheds light on the future of the industry.

– Digital and IoT solutions will change the construction industry in the future. New digital tools are already saving time and money on construction sites. Modern, energy-efficient and safe construction requires smart solutions like Smart Tracker, which optimize energy consumption, work time, and occupational safety on construction sites, Iso-Junno summarized.
